Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask | The Body Shop

Hi Lovelies,

Today's review is about this wonderful scrub-mask that I recently found on The Body Shop counter and absolutely loved! I picked Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask from The Body Shop keeping the fact in mind that my skin turns dry in current weather and needed gentle scrubbing along with moisture. Let me share my thoughts on it.

This Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask comes in a round container of 100 ml. The texture is quite interesting - I would say its not your typical scrub with a grain-y texture that you feel all over your skin when you massage. The texture is rather more creamy than granular (granular = term reminds me of Chemistry lol!). Hence, when you apply this 3-in-1 scrub mask all over your skin, the experience is soft and gentle rather than what you feel with regular scrubs therefore if you are looking for some serious exfoliation this product is not for you. I personally would not call it a scrub, however it can be a good option for sensitive skin provided your skin doesn't react to the ingredients. I exfoliate with a separate scrub for a more deep exfoliation.

Next interesting thing about Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask from The Body Shop is its smell. Now, you might think that the combination of Honey and Oats might results in a sweet smelling experience. Rather, the formula smells more like oats and flour to me. I must say to some it might be a 'miss' but I personally really like this different smelling product as I find it very relaxing so it's a 'hit' for me. Maybe the reason for this is that every other beauty product smells nice and sweet therefore this different smelling product outshines the others.

Let's talk about cleansing and mask application, the best part. I usually use it during showers all over my face as a cleanser with round circular motion. Later, I use the same product all over my skin as a mask and leave it for 10-15 mins. I wash it off with running water and pat dry. My skin really feels fresh, cleansed and glowing once I use Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask in this pattern. Therefore, for me this product works better as a cleanser and a mask rather than a scrub. I have been using this product for a few weeks now and after every use my skin feels relaxed and smooth. I also noticed how it has helped my skin to be more refined, comparatively. The mask soaks up within 10-15 mins hence is reasonably moisturizing. I would really recommend Honey & Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask if you want to try something new and different. I believe I will definitely repurchase it once I'm out of it.

Have you tried any mask or scrub from The Body Shop

"Heavy Metal" Glitter Eyeliner | Urban Decay

Hi Lovelies,

Today's post is all about glitter! All of you pretty ladies will admit the fact that nothing attracts you more than fine glitter. At least I am a big time fan of everything glitter may it powder form for face or liquid form in the shape of nail polish and eye liners, even glitter dust for hair! I recently came across "Heavy Metal" Glitter Eyeliner by Urban Decay and simply could not avoid the purchase. The color I picked was Spandex since I think it was pretty nice although these come in seven different colors.

"Heavy Metal" Glitter Eyeliner provides you with a heavy dose of glam rock! It comes in a nice, medium sized clear-tube packaging with a silver cap and the color name written on the bottom. Twist open the cap and you'll find a razor-thin and flexible application brush to paint either ultra thin or bold sweeps of super fine glitter for that jewel encrusted sparkle that wont budge. The texture is amazing, since the glitter is suspended in a gel, it will not separate in the bottle therefore you do not need to shake it like you do with watery formula. I love how the brush makes you draw ultra thin lines which gives you a lot of control on what type of look you want to create without any fallout. Peach and cucumber extract condition the skin, while carrot extract smooth and softens. The over all experience is just drop-dead-glamour! Another great thing about "Heavy Metal" Glitter Eyeliner is the staying power: until removed.

The color Spandex is like an ocean in a bottle. Described as a deep blue-black with iridescent glitter. I can describe it as a mixture of black, fuchsia, bluish-teal and navy blue multi-sized glitter. The good part is it dries down quickly and really stays put. I like to wear it alone to make it stand out by applying two coats. That was actually my Christmas look last year. I also like to apply it in another way - on top and parallel to my regular black eyeliner as a thin line. This adds quite a bit of drama to the eyes and makes your eyes look bigger. If you are stepping out for a party night do give it a try. Another party look that you can create is by applying the eyeliner over a layer of eye shadow. That would create a different and more dramatic look, perfect for a party night! There is another way to apply "Heavy Metal" Glitter Eyeliner which I would like to try out next time. That would be to apply a thin line really close to the lower lash line. I personally think it's a very creative way to wear any glitter eyeliner. Want more sparkle? Put some of the product on your index finger with the applicator and dab it right on your eyelids. Just make sure you keep rest of the face matte for a more clean, balanced look.

Final verdict: "Heavy Metal" Glitter Eyeliner by Urban Decay is a good quality glitter eyeliner that stays put and is very long lasting. It is a must-have product in your makeup collection. In case you cannot afford this one, try to look around and experiment with other brands.
